Freshmint key terms

The words you will see across Freshmint, in plain language.

Events

Event page. The public page where attendees read about your event and register. Its address is freshmint.ai/ followed by the event's short link.

Active, Live, Complete, Canceled. The stages an event moves through. See How an event moves from Active to Live to Complete.

Capacity. The number of attendees you can seat. When registrations reach it, new registrations join the waitlist.

Collection link. One link that lists several of your upcoming events, so attendees can RSVP to any of them.

People on an event

Primary host. The organization that owns the event. It controls everything, including cancelling it.

Co-host. An organization that runs the event with you. A confirmed co-host can edit the page, manage attendees, invite and manage sponsors, see the budget and manage emails. It cannot cancel or delete the event.

Sponsor. An organization that supports the event. A confirmed sponsor can manage the guest list and check-in, sees event analytics, and has its logo on the page. It cannot edit the page, the budget or the emails.

See Co-hosts and sponsors: what each role can do.

Attendee. Someone registered for the event.

Registration

Attendee statuses.

  • Interested: registered on the event page, waiting for a host to approve.
  • Pre-Approved: added by a host. They are confirmed automatically when they register.
  • Confirmed: has a seat.
  • Waitlisted: registered after the event was full.
  • Declined: not attending.
  • Checked In: arrived on the day.

Who's Coming. An optional section on the event page that shows attendees you choose, by first name, last initial and company.

Co-hosts and sponsors

Sponsor link (host link). A private link that opens the sponsor view of your event: your sponsor package, budget ask and the other hosts. It is not the link you send to attendees.

Sponsor package. What you offer sponsors, what you expect from them, and the budget you are asking each to contribute.

Attribution. Every registration is credited to the host or sponsor whose personal link was used. You see it in the Attributed To column.

Email

AI emails. Five emails Freshmint writes and schedules for every event: a week before, the day before, two hours before, the day after, and a follow-up.

Reconfirmation. The AI emails ask confirmed attendees whether they are still coming, with one-tap answers. Saying no releases the seat.

Account

Organization. Your company's shared home in Freshmint: its events, contacts, logo and team.

Admin and Member. Organization roles. Admins manage the organization and its team. Both have access to all of the organization's events.

Contacts. Your organization's audience, built from everyone who registers for your events.
