For attendees: registering, My Events and cancelling

This article is for people attending an event that runs on Freshmint.

Register

Open the event link and select the register button. Fill in your details and any questions from the host. You do not need a Freshmint account to register.

After you register you see one of these:

• You're registered. The host reviews registrations and confirms your spot. You are emailed when they do.
• You're confirmed. You have a seat. This happens straight away if the host invited you.
• You're on the waitlist. The event is full. You are emailed if a spot opens up.

If you register while signed in, Freshmint fills in your details from your profile, so you do not type them again.

My Events

Sign in and open My Events to see every event you are registered for, with its status. On the event day, use it to check in and to show your ticket. See Event-day check-in.

If two of your events overlap, My Events tells you, so you can decide which one to keep.

Can't make it?

Please tell the host so your seat can go to someone else.

• From My Events, select Cancel registration on the event.
• Or open the event page and cancel from there.
• Or answer I can't make it in the reminder email that asks whether you are still coming.

You cannot cancel after you have checked in, or after the event has ended.

The address

Some hosts hide the exact venue until you are confirmed. Sign in with the email you registered with to see it on the event page.

Common questions

I registered but have no email. Check your spam folder, and see Emails from Freshmint are not arriving.

Can I change my answers? Yes. Open the event page while signed in and select Edit registration.
